When Jeremy Stamper learned that his wife who he just married a few weeks ago had forgotten every detail of their wedding after losing her short term memory in a car crash, he was devastated.

The couple had been together since they were 10 and 11 years old, but on August 20 Stamper's wife Justice had an accident on the road in Virginia.

The collision left her with no memories of the recent events, according to an interview for ABC News:

"She called, but all I could hear was her crying her eyes out," Stamper recalled. "I don't remember anything after that. I got in my truck and flew over as fast as I could to see if she was OK."

The couple though did not let the sad news take over their relation.

Stamper in fact promised his wife that they will get married again on August 1st, on their one year anniversary.
