Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner Split, Announce Divorce After 10 Years

Ben and Jen are no longer.

After weeks of split rumors, Ben Affleck, 42, and Jennifer Garner, 43, are filing for divorce after 10 years of marriage.

"After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce," the couple told PEOPLE in a joint statement. "We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time. This will be our only comment on this private, family matter. Thank you for understanding."

The split is reportedly amicable, and the parents will share joint custody of their three children: Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3. The pair marked their 10-year wedding anniversary yesterday.

The duo began dating in 2004 after working together on "Daredevil." At the time, Garner had just split from ex-husband, Scott Foley. The happy couple wed in a hush-hush ceremony in Parrot Cay in the Turks and Caicos on June 29, 2005. Shortly after, they welcomed their first child together, Violet.

Rumors of a split have been circling for several months and today's news seems to confirm there was trouble in paradise.

Footage surfaced last year of the duo clearly in love while promoting the film "Daredevil," in which they co-starred, in 2003. Relive the adorable moment:
