Rose McGowan reveals why she dumped Marilyn Manson

Rose McGowan dropped by "Watch What Happens Live" Thursday and answered one of pop culture's most pressing questions ... from fourteen years ago. Why did she and Marilyn Manson break up?

"Name one lifestyle difference you and Marilyn Manson had," asked Andy Cohen on "Watch What Happens Live."

"Scarface," said Rose McGowan.

"Scarface?" asked Andy.

"Think about it, Andy," said Rose.

Unless she was upset with Manson for doing a bad Cuban accent, we can only assume she was referring to a cocaine problem.

McGowan and Manson were engaged for two years before calling it quits in 2001.

Back then, they attributed the split to "lifestyle differences." Now we know what those differences were.

She talked with host Andy Cohen about the devastating toll the drugs had on their relationship.

"Well it's one thing to party now and then, but when it becomes like a full time it's just ... I'm too busy," Rose explained.

At least they both turned out okay following the breakup.

He continued putting out his shock rock albums, and she moved behind the camera, directing her first short film titled "Dawn."
