President Obama reacts to Supreme Court's gay marriage ruling on Twitter: 'Love wins'
Following the landmark 5-4 Supreme Court decision earlier Friday that grants same-sex couples the right to marry in all 50 states, the reactions were passionate, overwhelmingly positive, and unavoidable.
#LoveWins, #SCOTUSmarriage, Happy Pride, Supreme Court, 14th Ammendment, and countless other related hashtags and phrases were trending nationwide almost immediately.
President Obama was one of the first to chime in and support SCOTUS:
Today is a big step in our march toward equality. Gay and lesbian couples now have the right to marry, just like anyone else. #LoveWins

All marriages at their root are about love. In America, our laws now recognize that simple truth. #LoveWins today & we couldn't be prouder.
