Britney Spears is back on the market. According to sources, the "Pretty Girls" chanteuse and Charlie Ebersol have split after 8 months of being in a relationship together.
There's no telling how long she'll wait to jump back into the dating pool, but prior relationship history tells us probably not too long. Britney is rarely kept waiting ... but could you hold it against her?
Here are 5 potential next boyfriends for the princess of pop.
1. Leonardo DiCaprio
After dating some flop men (*cough* Kevin Federline *cough*), Brit Brit deserves a real man and it doesn't they don't come much manlier than Leonardo DiCaprio. The Hollywood hotshot appears to have his act together after earning quite some hefty sums from his blockbuster resume.
2. J.C. Chasez
If she can't have Justin Timberlake, she's certainly entitled to NSYNC's second best, J.C. Chasez. The cute crooner deserves a little romance after a couple fizzled and forgotten relationships throughout his post-boy band career.
3. Gerard Butler
Gerard Butler is known for his humor and heroic demeanor. We can't imagine him being anything less than a true romantic though (given his recent rom com efforts). We think he'd be the perfect guy to come in and swoop Britney back up.
4. 50 Cent
Come on! The guy is bulletproof, for crying out loud. 50 Cent has that whole bad boy facade but is more than likely a total cuddler. What more does Brit need? Also, who wouldn't love a musical collaboration of sorts from the two -- we think it would be pretty rad.
5. Channing Tatum
Channing Tatum is a total dreamboat and we're unaware of anyone who doesn't have a crush on him. The "Magic Mike XXL" actor is around the same age as Britney and has become one of the biggest names in Hollywood. They would definitely be a hot item.
