Nike releases new, epic LeBron James ad

Why Is LeBron James Still Hated?

LeBron James came up short in his quest to end Cleveland's championship drought this year, losing to the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals.

It was pretty impressive that the Cavaliers got as far as they did, losing power forward Kevin Love in the first-round against the Boston Celtics. Star point guard Kyrie Irving was also banged up and missed portions of the post season and all but one NBA Finals game.

As we head into the NBA offseason and summer, Nike has released a new and rather chilling ad surrounding LeBron James. It chronicles his post season, the Cavaliers struggles but changes the ending to James leading a depleted Cavaliers team to an NBA championship.

Then it reminds the reader that this isn't Hollywood, but instead it is Cleveland, before their tag line "Just Do It." Possibly a message or theme for James and the Cavaliers next season as they chase an NBA championship again.

While the simplicity of this ad is stunning, I can only imagine what it would have been like if it was an actual video ad.

It could be something along the lines of this Michael Jordan ad.

Or possibly this Michael Jordan ad.
