After this Wisconsin family posed for a photo shoot on a train track dressed as Batman characters, the photos went viral. Unfortunately for the family, the response was extremely negative and even life-threatening.

In the photos, the couple's 15-month-old son, Finn, is dressed up as Robin while his father, Mike Daly, is dressed as Batman. The shoot was meant to be an early Father's Day gift for Mike from his wife, Roxanne, and Finn. At first, the viral photos received nice comments.

Once the photos went viral, however, the backlash began. Mike said:

"It was just pure disbelief. It was a kind of surreal feeling. And then there were other hosts of comments that we should have our son taken away from us."

The fact that the photos were taken on real train tracks ignited the backlash. One stranger even posted the family's Wisconsin address in the comments and threatened to visit them at their home. Roxanne said:

"I was terrified and told him we need to sleep in a hotel because I really thought that someone would come and show up at our house."

Upon posting the photos on Facebook, the local sheriff warned the family that the train tracks are private and dangerous for pedestrians to walk on. Mike said:

"I did ask if the trains still ran on that track and I was told that it didn't. Knowing what we know now, that it was illegal, I don't think that we would do it again."
