Dixie Chicks Sisters Are Back!

Dixie Chicks, one of the best-selling bands of all time, are getting back together next year for a string of European tour dates.

"Superstars, renegades, innovators, heroes, villains, and moms -- for over a decade, the Dixie Chicks have grown from a band into a phenomenon, with over 30 million albums sold, Dixie Chicks are the biggest female band of all time in the U.S.," reads a post on their website.

"The Dixie Chicks have announced that they will be returning to Europe to tour in 2016. Starting in Amsterdam, the tour will then head to the UK and Ireland to play arenas in Birmingham, Manchester, London, Glasgow and will culminate in Dublin."

Since starting their off-and-on hiatus in 2008, this is the trio's second tour. The first saw them playing Canada in 2013, but they've yet to tour the United States since their hiatus started (although they did perform at a Texas wildlife fundraise in 2011.)

Could this 2016 European tour mean U.S. dates are in the works? Let's hope so -- the Dixie Chicks haven't toured America since 2006's Accidents & Accusations Tour, which closely followed their Bush-bashing 2003 controversy.

And hey! If Jeb Bush nabs the 2016 Republican nomination, they have to tour the U.S. -- alongside Hillary Clinton.
