Burger King Japan unveils new red burger... because black was so last year

Burger King Japan has us talking about another weird menu item... and making us wonder: would we try it? I could see the appeal if you're like...a vampire, but even they will probably be disappointed.

It's called the Aka Samurai burger and it's another limited edition. The red buns and red cheese are made with tomato powder. It also reportedly comes with a hot sauce with miso and hot peppers. Ketchup is the one ingredient on this burger they didn't have to mess with to keep the color scheme.

Messing with food is Burger King Japan's thing, though. Remember the terrifying all black burger that used bamboo charcoal and squid ink for coloring? People apparently liked it because it's coming back for another limited run this year. It makes me wonder what color will the next burger be? Maybe they should take a vote. Who wants to see more blue food in this world?
