1. FOUNDATION: L'OREAL PARIS TRUE MATCH FOUNDATION $7

This foundation has about everything that I look for in an expensive foundation – long wearing, great color, matte, and SPF. I love this liquid foundation because it gives you a dewey glow without looking oily. It's also sheer enough to let your skin breathe and doesn't clog your pores (nothing against MAC, but that stuff is so thick it makes me break out like crazy!) I like the fact that it's a little more sheer because I can slap on a single layer when I'm just out running errands, or I can add another layer or two for more coverage.

2. POWDER: RIMMEL STAY MATTE PRESSED TRANSLUCENT POWDER $10

I wear translucent powder over my foundation to set and mattify my face, and this one has been my favorite drugstore find so far! It's pretty full coverage and lasts a while – I usually don't have to touch up unless it's super hot out.

3. LIPSTICK: NYX MATTE LIPSTICK $6

If you haven't tried NYX lipstick before, you are seriously missing out. It's like MAC pigment, except lasts 10 times longer and is a third of the price. My favorite colors are Indie Flick, Shocking Pink, and and Perfect Red.

4. HIGHLIGHTING AND CONTOURING: E.L.F. STUDIO BRONZER $3

I haven't found a cream contouring kit that I like, but this powder one is pretty good. It has all the colors you need and then some! I use the lighter of the two browns for an all-over face bronzer, and the pinky tone for a natural-looking blush.

5. BLUSH: NYX POWDER BLUSH $5

This one is the most like NARS orgasm, which is my all-time fave. The color is bright and pigmented just like NARS, and it lasts forever! NYX is seriously the dirty little secret of high quality pigments for cheap.

6. NAILS: SALLY HANSEN 18K GOLD CUTICLE ERASER $7

This is actually infused with gold particles, and softens and erases those nasty cuticles like a Magic eraser! When I don't have time to get a manicure, I just whip this bad boy out and slap a couple coats of polish on – it's not as good as a mani, but it gets the job done when I feel like I'm looking homeless.

7. BRUSHES: ECOTOOLS BRUSH SET $12

These don't leave hairs everywhere and put on makeup pretty darn well – I use these as my travel brushes a lot. Plus, they're eco friendly and fricken cheap!

8. CONCEALER: IMAN SECOND TO NONE FOUNDATION STICK $13

SUPER full coverage and very easily spreadable. It's really similar to Bobbi Brown's foundation stick, which I also use.

9. DEODORANT: DOVE DRY SPRAY ANTI PERSPIRANT $5

I'm obsessed with this – it goes on dry and doesn't leave white marks! Plus its like a body spray – I keep this in my gym bag at all times.

10. EYELINER: MAYBELLINE LINE STILETTO LIQUID EYELINER $6

This is the best liquid eyeliner I've found across the board – it dries immediately and doesn't flake off! The tip is super thin, so I start with a thin layer first and keep adding depending on the look I'm going for that day.

11. BRONZER: MILANI BRONZER XL ALL OVER GLOW $9

I love this bronzer because one side is matte and one is shimmer. I like to do a quick sweep of my face with the matte side, and use the shimmer side on my cheeks.

12. BROWS: MAYBELLINE EYESTUDIO BROW SCULPTING MASCARA $7

I usually use powder for my brows, but I also have a gel brow sculptor for when I need to do my makeup super fast. This one has been named the best by tons of celebrity makeup artists, so I tried it out and have loved it!

13. EYESHADOW: L'OREAL PARIS HIP EYESHADOW $6

I love this eyeshadow because it's super pigmented, but spreads easily. They also have a TON of color options to choose from!

14. FALSE LASHES: ARDELL INVISIBANDS LASHES $5

I usually use MAC #10 falsies, but they get so expensive to wear on the reg so I found these that are almost exactly the same, but half the price!

15. MASCARA: COVERGIRL LASHBLAST MASCARA $7

I have used this mascara since it came out when I was in high school. Honestly, I've tried almost every other drugstore mascara out there but nothing has beat this one.

Anastasia Brow Pencil

By this time we’ve all seen this quote floating around Instagram or Pinterest, ” Don’t let anyone with bad eyebrows tell you shit about life.” And just like any random Insta quote, truer words have never been spoken. If you want to keep handing out unsolicited advice to every friend, coworker, and hot dog vendor that comes your way, you best get those brows in check.

Bare Minerals Well Rested CC Eye Primer

I’ve been a long time user of this Kiehls’ Facial Fuel Eye De-Puffer but always wished it came in a tinted version. The patron saint of puffy eyes must have been listening because this miracle stick is everything I’ve always wanted. I dab it in the corners of my eyes then cover my under eye area all the way down to my cheekbone. Hello, bright eyes! Wear it alone for a casual weekend day with just mascara or layer it underneath your concealer for extra coverage.

Tarte Eyelash Curler

If you don’t have to curl your eyelashes then don’t worry about this little tool, and also I hate you. But, seriously. I’ve been curling my eyelashes since high school and this is the best wand I’ve found to date. The curler is super cushiony and the padding on the handle is divine.

Mary Kay Ultimate Mascara

No, you can’t get this at a local store but like… I’m sure you know at least 72 women that sell this stuff and it’s totally worth it. Lush, full, voluminous – I know all these words mean the same thing but this mascara does everything I’ve ever wanted a mascara to do. It’s ah-mah-zing. I get it in the blackest of black and load it on till I’m bordering on spider lashes JUST KIDDING impossible to do with this wand. Long story short, I die for this mascara. Go get 17 tubes.

The Lib Scrub in Clementine

My lips are always chapped. So gross right? A little swipe of this stuff in the morning and at night and I no longer want to rip my lips off when I wear a dark lipstick. DS tip: Use this scrub to help take off every last bit of your lipstick!

Bumble and Bumble Pret-a-Powder

I originally purchased this little bottle to create additional volume on Day 2 hair days but soon learned it’s actually a dry shampoo. SCORE. It’s advertised as “equal parts dry shampoo, style extender, and volume in a pinch” and it absolutely does every one of those things. Day 2 and 3 hair products now consist of this happy pink bottle and a quick spray of Oribe’s Dry Texturizing Spray.

Clarisonic

After about a year of exfoliating with one of those knock off versions I invested in the classic white Clarisonic brush and could. not. be. more. pleased. This is one of those tools you want to invest in. It doesn’t matter what type of skin you have, this sucker magically makes everything better. Think about all those concealers and creams you’ve used trying to get beautiful, glowing, even toned skin. I’m telling you – start with this puppy and you can toss all those jars out the window.
