Now that Dick Costolo has stepped down as CEO, Twitter needs a new top dog -- so why not Snoop Dogg?

The rapper threw his hat in the ring on Thursday afternoon (June 11), just a few hours after Costolo's announcement. And he's already showing company loyalty by starting his #SnoopforCEO campaign on -- what else? -- Twitter.

Twitter has yet to respond to Snoop's campaign through their @twitter handle.
