For those watching the 2015 Women's World Cup, some spectacular goals have been scored. none might be more spectacular than that scored by Mexico's Veronica Perez against Colombia in their opening game of the tournament.

With the ball in the corner, basically a few yards away from where a corner kick would be taken, Perez scored.

Yes, this is basically a zero angle goal. The amount of space she had to get this ball in is next to none.

The truth is probably that she meant to cross this in to set up a teammate with a header, but it curled a little too much to the left and went in. It worked though, the goal keeper was clearly expecting the cross and was off her line.

For those questioning whether or not the ball went into the goal, a different angle and goal line technology confirmed that it did. Still a seriously impressive goal from Perez and the Mexican women, possibly the goal of the tournament already.
