WWE Payback results: Seth Rollins defeats Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, and Dean Ambrose

After all the action on Sunday night at WWE Payback, it was finally time for the main event for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Seth Rollins would be defending his title against Dean Ambrose, Randy Orton and Roman Reigns.

Orton was out for this one first, followed by Ambrose, Orton and then, finally, the champion Rollins.

Right off the bat in this one we saw the interference from J&J Security, which really wasn't all that much of a surprise. However, after that was over, Rollins was in trouble. He found himself eventually getting toyed with by his former Shield mates, Ambrose and Reigns.

Then, it was time for Kane to get involved. He would eventually save Rollins from the beating that he was receiving, thus saving his job for the time being.

In a moment that everyone was waiting for, though, there was ONE spot where the Shield reunited for just a moment, as they got together to give Randy Orton a Triple Powerbomb, which had the crowd going nuts. But right after, Ambrose and Reigns turned their attention to Rollins, the man that turned on them last year.

All in all, this was a pretty solid match, but when it was all said and done, Rollins was able to retain his title by using, of ALL moves–a Pedigree.
