The Billboard Music Awards are the perfect time for stars to flaunt fun styles -- and there's no doubt they seize the opportunity. But big fashion risks can sometimes result in red carpet disasters.

Fergie and Mariah Carey looked killer at the awards show in 1998 and 1999, respectively, but both Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson missed the mark big time in 2000.

In recent memory, Rihanna, Taylor Swift and Kendall Jenner all rocked stunning looks on the Billboard red carpet ... but do you remember Kesha's "cheeky" 2013 look?
