The Cavs aired the dumbest marketing video ever -- and now people are offended

The Cleveland Cavaliers ran an in-arena video during Wednesday's game showing a male Cavs fan throwing his girlfriend to the ground because she's a Bulls fan. Really.

In what was meant to be a playful spoof of the scene in 'Dirty Dancing' when Patrick Swayze gracefully lifts Jennifer Grey over his body, the promo just went horribly wrong.

It got even worse when the man justifies the beating by saying, "Bulls fan? I didn't know you were a Bulls fan!"

At the end of the video, the woman resurfaces with an ice pack on her head and the couple is both wearing Cavs shirts.

So, yeah, the Cavs' PR department is certainly not having the time of their lives today.
