Kim Kardashian is nearly nude at 2015 Met Gala

Kim Kardashian knows how to make a scene, even when she's surrounded by the biggest stars in the world -- and usually it's by showing a lot of skin.

At the 2015 Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute gala, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star wore this shockingly sheer white dress that gave her a nearly nude look.

As she walked the red carpet with her husband Kanye West, the 34-year-old reality star showed her well-documented assets from every angle.

However, while Kim did look pretty stunning, she's still got her fair share of haters. Only this time, it's not the sheerness of the dress that's generating controversy but how much it looks like the headline-making gown Beyonce wore at the 2012 Met Gala.

Not one to be outdone or imitated, Beyonce posted her 2015 Met Gala outfit to Instagram, and went even more sheer than Kim in this see-through, jewel-encrusted gown.

Looks like the "Drunk in Love" singer still knows how to one up everyone else.

To her credit, Kim posted a photo to Instagram explaining her inspiration for her dress, which was apparently Cher's gown at the very first Met Gala years ago.

Well, they are both see-through and racey.

Kim wasn't the only KUWTK star to appear at this year's Met Gala. Kim's Mom Kris Jenner wore a bright, fiery red gown that almost blended into the red carpet.
