Apple Watch doesn't seem to work on tattooed wrists

Days after the launch of the Apple Watch, many users took to social media sites such as Twitter and Reddit to express concerns of the device not working well on tattooed wrists.

The watch functions on heart rate sensors and any obstruction to them - including ink-covered skin - can interfere with the performance of the device.

One Reddit user's complaint was forwarded to Apple engineering and has yet to hear back from the company.
