89-year-old veteran earns one more KU touchdown
Brian Sperry, WWII veteran and former University of Kansas football player, made the play of a lifetime at the Jayhawks' alumni scrimmage game this weekend.
The team huddled around 89-year-old Sperry as he made his way to the end-zone with a smile on his face, warming the hearts of KU fans and non-sports fanatics alike. Sperry's touchdown run has gone viral with nearly 200,000 views on YouTube by Wednesday morning.
The best thing about KU right now is the 89-year-old alum that scored a touchdown at the alumni game. Can't lie, that it was precious ❤️👴🏻🏈- JDom (@jdommmm) April 28, 2015
