Rescued Dogs Experience Grass For First Time

After years of terrible treatment, some brave dogs recently had the time of their lives.

Beagle Freedom Project, a U.S. based non-profit organization, worked with several groups in South Korea to rescue 10 beagles. Five of those pooches were brought to Los Angeles.

Beagle Freedom Project posted a heartwarming but bittersweet video of the dogs experiencing grass for the first time in their lives and the beautiful moment quickly went viral.

These dogs were saved from a research lab and the team involved with the rescue is trying to determine the ways that their former environment impacted them. They had been in cages for six years.

The beagles are currently in foster homes and Beagle Freedom Project is continuing its efforts to rescue other such dogs from around the world.
