But don't just take TripAdvisor's' word on it, Provo has been ranked "best beach" by Conde Nast and the World Travel Awards.

Next on Traveler Choice's list is Maui, the Hawaiian island, also known as the "Valley Isle" is known for its shimmering beaches, quaint towns, and scenic drives. Though it took the number two spot here, Maui has landed the number one spot Conde Nast's list of best islands nineteen times.

Rounding out Traveler Choices top three is Roatán, the largest of the Bay Islands off the coast of Honduras. It's known around the world for its scuba diving.
