Bruno Tonioli shocked the 'DWTS' ballroom Monday during his critique of model Charlotte McKinney and partner Keo Motsepe's rumba.

"You're never going to win the Nobel Prize for quantum physics, but you are easy on the eyes" he told the model.

The harsh comment elicited boos and screams from the live audience and from Bruno's fellow judges -- and when he realized what he had said, the judge covered his mouth, saying, "Oh, sorry!"

Co-host Tom Bergeron -- always quick on his feet -- jumped in, saying, "Bruno, neither are you ..." McKinney, on the other hand, looked at her partner with raised eyebrows -- without uttering a word in response.

Charlotte and Keo ended up getting eliminated later in the show, making them the second couple to leave the show this season.

Though Charlotte had no words for Bruno in the moment, she responded to his comment on "Good Morning America," saying:

"To be honest, I just really thought it was uncalled for ... I've really been trying to be used as a platform for social media bullying and really just stop any negativity and just talk about being positive, and it just came out of nowhere."
