Herb Alpert's six-decade career is still going strong

He's the A in A&M records, a nine-time Grammy Award-winner, a philanthropist and a painter. And those are just a few of the accomplishments the jazz trumpeter and singer Herb Alpert has achieved in a six-decade career that's still going strong.

In September, he released "In The Mood," his fourth chart-topping album in five years. Most recently, he's been playing a series of shows at the Cafe Carlyle in New York City with his wife, recording artist Lani Hall. The performances wrap on March 21.
