Journalist Lisa Ling On Sister's North Korea Abduction: "I Thought, 'She's Screwed'"

Before you go, we thought you'd like these...
When Lisa Ling's sister was abducted by North Korean forces, she used every resource she had to pressure politicians to help get her freed. Reaching the highest levels of Washington, Ling stopped at nothing to win her sister's freedom from a 12 year sentence of hard labor in a North Korean prison.

"I thought, 'she's screwed,' because I knew how displeased they were with the work that I had done there," said Ling. Check out the full story of how Ling got her sister freed in this episode of AOL's original series Inspired.
