Rumors are swirling over a budding new relationship between screen stars Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx. While the duo have yet to confirm the news themselves, People Magazine is reporting that the pair are in fact an item -- but that it's not too serious.

"This is not some intense romance. Jamie and Katie are friends and have been for a long time. They are two adults who are attractive and single, and so apparently conclusions will be drawn," said one source.

In the summer of 2013, Katie was spotted getting cozy with the Oscar winner in the Hamptons. And later that year, In Touch published an article claiming that Foxx and the former Mrs. Tom Cruise were officially a couple.

At the time, Foxx denied the rumors. "[The rumors] are one hundred percent not true. In fact, it's quite hilarious because we simply danced at a charity event along with a lot of other people," Foxx told Entertainment Tonight.

But perhaps Foxx was just playing coy since the rumor mill is back at it nearly two years later with the same story and this time sources are saying it's the real deal.

If they are in fact dating, they make an adorable couple. And, thankfully Katie doesn't need Xenu's approval anymore.
