Bumping into an old friend is a great feeling. And Facebook makes it easier than ever to connect people.

For one woman the social media site helped her reconnect with a boy she used to look after nearly 30 years ago.

Yeny Zaera, from northern Spain posted pictures of the boy and asked for help finding him.

Just 3 days after the post - the photo got more than 50,000 shares, and the two finally reunited.

Zaera first met Francisco Javier Juárez in 1982 at a juvenile daycare where she volunteered. Juárez was abandoned by his parents and Zaera says she had an instant connection with the young boy. Juárez lived with her until he was six, but needed to find a permanent home.According to The Facebook post- Zaera was unable to adopt Juárez herself and the pair was separated. The day he was adopted she told him she would never forgot about him.

And she definitely didn't. The two reunited and Zaera says the reconnection is a dream come true.
