Inside Edition -- Before they shipped up to Dublin, popular punk band Dropkick Murphys surprised travelers inside Logan International Airport in their native Boston.

The band was on their way to Ireland for the European portion of their current "Celtic Punk Invasion Tour," which will kick-off on St. Patrick's Day. They just wrapped up the North American leg on Monday night at House of Blues in Boston and went straight to Logan to travel abroad.

While waiting for their flight, the band took to social media and posted: "We decided to play a special show that's not on our tour schedule -– Gate E4 at Logan International Airport." The band did their signature hit, "I'm Shipping up to Boston," which was made famous in Martin Scorsese's The Departed, fittingly altered the lyrics to "I'm Shipping Up to Dublin."
