Repair Your Clothes to Save

There are ways you can save your damaged clothes and your cash. Try these quick and easy tips to keep your wallet full.

If you've got water, salt or snow damage on your leather boots, just dip a soft-bristled toothbrush in white vinegar and gently rub the problem area. The stain will be gone and your boots will be saved.

Got oil or grease on that new blouse? Forget about the dry cleaners. Simply rub a little dishwashing soap on it, wash off and it'll be as good as new.

And when that pesky underwire bursts through your bra seam, just buy some adhesive moleskin at the drugstore, push the wire back in and wrap the moleskin over it. Much cheaper than buying a new bra.

With these tricks, you can repair complicated mishaps yourself and save your hard-earned cash for when you really need it.
