'Lullaby Mom' Goes Viral After 3 'American Idol' Rejections

CHICAGO - It all started with a lullaby for Kimberly Henderson. The single mother of four recorded herself singing a Whitney Houston song to her baby girl, and she posted it to YouTube. Since then, it has received more than 2 million views and is still going strong.

She talked to WGN Morning News via Skype about her new single "Tiny Hearts" and how she auditioned for "American Idol" three times but never made it on the show.

"They have good things to say. They just said, 'You have a really unique voice, we think you're good, but it's just not your time yet,'" she said. "So I'm guessing maybe now it's my time."
