BACK TO SLIDE
It's been a busy week in news, so take a moment to look back on the week's best pictures from the world's biggest stories.
A couple in France last Sunday seemed so mesmerized by the golden sunset over the Mediterranean that they were oblivious to the enormous wave splashing up beside them. Getty photographer Boris Horvat captured the perfect, beautiful moment, though we imagine the pair in the photo weren't quite as calm and happy once the wave crashed down.
More weather-related stories around the world also made headlines this week, with staggering photos coming out of snowy Massachusetts, Russia, and everywhere in-between.
Around the United States, photos in this week's roundup came from the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, the implosion of the Clarion Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, and a furry helper unveiling cars at the Chicago Auto Show.
Check out the slideshow above for more of the week's best photos, and make sure to check back next weekend for our selection of images from the next seven days.
