Splash News threw back to circa 1990 to see what Shakira looked like as a teenager.

Take a look at these never-before-seen-snaps of the beauty long before her life of fame and luxury -- and even though she has always been seen as a glamorous star, the future Grammy-nominated singer had a modest upbringing.

Before going to her trademark blonde, Shakira can be seen at her family's apartment with deep dark trusses and plain clothes, mimicking dance moves and playing the guitar.

The former 'Voice' coach also played with different looks in one of her first studio shoots before the release of her first album at the age of fourteen.
