Tom Brady had a pretty incredible night at the Super Bowl -- but unfortunately, Tom Bradby cannot say the same.

Unlike Tom Brady, Tom Bradby is not a Super Bowl-winning quarterback for the New England Patriots. In fact, he's not a famous athlete at all -- he's ITV's political editor in England.

Still, Twitter users can't seem to tell the difference between the British journalist who is on Twitter and the famous football player who does not have an account.

It's amazing how much fire you can get in 140 characters. Poor Bradby is getting messages ranging from "I hate you" to other notes that we could definitely not write here. He's also getting his fair share of kind comments about his (read: Tom Brady's) looks.

The amazing thing about this ridiculous situation is that people are still making the same mistake even though the story has now been widely reported. Either way, Tom Bradby is being a good sport about it, and he has even responded to some of the mean things coming his way (which is probably not the best idea if he wants to get Internet trolls to leave him alone).

He even tweeted at Brady's wife Gisele Bündchen to see if there were any way the real TB would join Twitter to take the abuse for himself.

Let's play: Can you tell who is Tom Brady and who is Tom Bradby?
