Disney is about to introduce its first Latina princess to audiences!

The new character, voiced by Young & Hungry's Aimee Carrero, will debut in a very special episode of Disney Junior's Sofia the First airing in 2016.

Following Elena's introduction, the character will then launch her own spinoff show, Elena of Avalor, later that year.

She'll be joined by several friends, including Mateo, a wizard in training, and Skylar, a magical flying creature.
