Dachshund/Pit Bull Mix Shelter Dog Becomes New Internet Star

A mix-breed dog named Rami has quickly gone viral, likely due to his adorable features. Rami is currently being cared for by employees at Moultrie Colquitt County Humane Society in Georgia. His appearance really sets him apart from other canines, as he's got a tiny body and a fierce-looking face. His unusual look is the result of his mom and dad, as they are two very different breeds.

One-year-old Rami is a mix between a Dachshund and a Pit bull. According to humane society workers, he's a hyper pooch that isn't a fan of walking on a leash. Via Facebook, they note he is sweet but hyper dog that may not be suitable with small children, and that he'll need some proper training. Despite that, thousands of people have liked, commented and shared his photo, indicating he has become quite the internet star. The humane society confirmed he is indeed a popular little guy and not just locally.

A follow-up post reads "We are a small shelter with limited funds, so we are unable to provide transportation, but we appreciate all your interest in our sweet Rami. Please remember there are lots of homeless animals in shelters unique as Rami."
