An artist with a very unique instrument totally shocked the "American Idol" judges Wednesday night.

"Like that could be on the radio!" said Harry Connick Jr.

Yes, 23-year-old Joey Cook wowed the panel with how well her unusual voice paired with her accordion, which she lovingly dubbed her "squeezebox."

After her surprising performance, Keith Urban told the aspiring singer she was his "favorite voice of the whole day."

And many media outlets agreed, calling Cook's pipes "amazing,""beautifully off-kilter" and "eclectic."

Without much hesitation, the judges agreed to send an ecstatic Cook to the next round of auditions in Hollywood.

But does this spunky folk singer have what it takes to make it to the Top 24?

A writer for Bustle sure hopes so. "Cook has the potential to go all the way. How cool would it be to see a wonderfully weird folk singer win American Idol? I'm ready for it to happen already."
