Queer Blogger Launches LGBT History Campaign On YouTube

In recent years the queer community has been keenly focused on its future. But queer vlogger Arielle Scarcella wants to focus on its past. She joins HuffPost Live to discuss why.

The series was inspired by the indifference of the young LGBT tumblr community. Arielle's intent was "to pay homage to how far we've come and acknowledge the people that helped pave the way." In her series she profiles all kinds of historical figures, including personalities like Alexander the Great.

Scarcella outlines the significance of LGBT history and why she wants to bring awareness to these subjects.
