Can you ever go wrong with a black dress?

The 2015 Golden Globes red carpet was awash with stunning black dresses on Sunday and many celebs took the classic color to the next level with their own spin on timeless silhouettes.

"Jane the Virgin" star and Golden Globe winner, Gina Rodriguez, turned heads with her form-fitting, black, strapless Badgley Mischka dress that became sheer at the bottom. Agata Trzebuchowska looked like such perfection in her black dress that she made us wonder why actresses don't wear mid-length dresses more frequently.

Check out all the incredible, for better or for worse, black dresses at the Golden Globes this year.
