This peanut butter banana smoothie is great for breakfast or as a healthy dairy-free milkshake. Kefir adds probiotics. Cacao, coconut oil and raw honey are powerful anti-oxidants and full of health benefits.

Serving Size: 1 Prep Time: 5 mins Total Time: 5 mins

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe banana

  • 2 tsp peanut butter

  • 1 tsp raw cacao nibs or dark chocolate 70% or higher

  • 1 tsp raw honey

  • ½ tsp vanilla

  • ½ tsp coarse sea salt

  • 1 cup almond milk

  • ¼ cup lactose-free kefir (optional)

  • 1 Tbsp extra-virgin coconut oil (optional)

Directions:

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a food processor or blender. Puree until smooth. Transfer to a glass and enjoy.
