'Naughty little elf' prank makes people scream

Nothing says 'happy holidays!' like a stranger and her elf scaring the jingle bells out of you on the street.

The pranksters at Break had Santa's (scantily-clad) helper hang out on a sidewalk with a huge gift. She asked passersby to help her lift said large gift, and in return, these kind, giving people were rewarded by -- you guessed it -- a surprise elf.

Sure, it's pretty much the oldest trick in the book, but terrified people never get any less amusing.

Here's hoping your holiday season is a lot less jarring.
