First look: Jennifer Nettles is Roxie Hart in Broadway's 'Chicago'

Welcome to The Great White Way, Jennifer Nettles.

The country crooner, 40, will make her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in "Chicago," next year and based on recent promotional photos, Nettles has officially transformed into a Broadway babe.

The Sugarland songbird ditched her boots and jeans in favor of more sultry attire for her new role and showcased her enviable bod in a series of sexy snaps.

In the photos, Nettles is clad in a black lace negligee and is rocking vampy makeup with smoky eyes and a deep berry lip color. Her hair is curled and swept over with a deep side part. Nettles is posed seductively with her legs spread on a chair and staring intently at the camera.

The photos show off a different side of the mother of one, who is known for her wholesome country image, but it's exciting to see her sexy makeover.

Nettles will appear in the role for a limited eight-week engagement starting Monday, Feb. 2 through Sunday, March 29, at the Ambassador Theater in New York City.
