Sunday night was the season eight premiere of "The Millionaire Matchmaker," and Patti Stanger took on a client who may be living a little too much in the past.

"It's been hard trying to find that balance of what's enough for Dannielynn to know her mom, but what's also the limit to where I can move on and put myself back out there and try to find love again," Larry Birkhead said on "The Millionaire Matchmaker."

Smith died eight years ago of an apparent accidental overdose in a Florida hotel room. She was just 39 years old.

Birkhead opened up about looking for love again in a recent interview to Access Hollywood, saying he had been asked to do "Matchmaker" a few years ago, but he wasn't ready yet.

"I'm getting older, my daughter's, like, looking at me. And she said to me one day, she goes, 'Dad, I think you need to go on a date,'" Larry Birkhead said during an interview with Access Hollywood.
If by "not ready yet," you mean, "I needed to dismantle my Anna Nicole Smith shrine," then yes, you weren't quite ready for dating yet, Larry.

But Birkhead won't be the only celebrity looking for love on this season of "The Millionaire Matchmaker."

According to Heavy, we can expect to see some familiar faces making appearances in upcoming episodes, including Heidi Montag.
