Study reveals which city has the most holiday party invitations
A new ranking says that people in Manhattan like to celebrate more than anybody else during the holiday season. Paperless Post reports that people in the borough sent more holiday party invites than anywhere else in the country last year.
San Francisco was right behind Manhattan, followed by Washington, DC. Chicago came in third, with Los Angeles, Houston, Brooklyn and Dallas rounding out the top eight.
The Daily Mail notes that, "London, UK, also appeared on Paperless Post's map of most partying cities, the only non-U.S. city."
The most popular date for festivities is the second Saturday of December. For work events, people are going all out on the second Thursday in December.
Paperless Post was founded in 2008 by siblings James and Alexa Hirschfeld when they were just 23 and 25. The site sent out over 38 million holiday party invites in 2013.
