It's a big night for music's hottest stars!

Everyone from Taylor Swift to Sam Smith to country cutie Luke Bryan is hitting the red carpet for the 2014 American Music Awards at L.A.'s Nokia Theatre.

The star-studded red carpet is just a precursor to the evening's real festivities: winning awards and amazing performances.

The awards show is notorious for awesome performances and based on this year's lineup this year's awards will be no different. 5 Seconds of Summer, Garth Brooks, Selena Gomez, and big nomineed Iggy Azalea are all set to take the stage.
