Mama bear and cub are no surprise in California neighborhood
Yet it doesn't seem like anyone was scared. The Los Angeles Times reports around 20 people starting gathering near where the bears were Thursday ... nothing screams safety like wild bear photography, right?
Although maybe the Sierra Madre residents are just used to bears. In June, some bears came and chilled out in someone's pool. Bears do tend to flock to the community more in summertime.
The most recent incident happened Thursday, which is trash day in the neighborhood. Police ended up scaring off the mama and her cub with bean bag guns.
