What do you give to a star who has everything from an Oscar to a Golden Globe?

If you're the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce you give an honor that's permanently embedded on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Award-winning Matthew McConaughey received the accolade Monday outside of Madame Tussauds on Hollywood Boulevard-- it was the 2,534th star to be handed out according to CBS Los Angeles.

The Texas native made it a family affair, as the 45-year-old was accompanied by his wife Camila Alves and their three children, Vida, Livingston and Levi.

The "Intersellar" actor was also flanked by the film's director Christopher Nolan and Don Phillips -- the man who cast him in his breakout hit movie "Dazed and Confused" and is therefore partially responsible for McConaughey's famous catchphrase, "Alright, alright, alright."

Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain and Mackenzie Foy were also in attendance to support their sci-fi flick's leading man.
