I would credit these books with making my early reading fun. I read and loved many of the Adventures, and am myself, an avid reader as an adult.

What a great series of books that encouraged so many young people to read. He will be missed. Condolences to his family.

Very fun childhood books. Kids will never get the chance to enjoy these books do to all the new technology clouding their minds. They will never ever know how fun these books were to read.

As an avid reader & former literature professor, I am very grateful for Mr. Montgomery's contribution to literature and to the genre as a whole. I was a huge fan of the "Choose Your Own Adventure" series and used them frequently, both in the classroom and in the home. I remember reading at least one years ago. It was something during WW 2 and Nazi's, and you where a spy. It was an intriguing concept for a book.

I used to cheat if I died too soon, the books were so good.
