On the "Late Show," Jennifer Lawrence admitted she's terrified of singing in front of other people.
And she told David Letterman it all started back when she was just eight years old and had to sing in front of the whole school.
"Do you remember the song?"
"Have a holly jolly Christmas! And my dad, like, laughed for the entire week."
Yes, Jennifer said her parents made fun of what she calls her "tone deaf Amy Winehouse" voice for a while after that.
And she's tried to avoid singing in public ever since.

For her first major premiere for "The Hunger Games," Lawrence decided on a fitting gold Prabal Gurung gown. The metallic number, which lit up the carpet, was on-trend with sleek cutouts and showcased her svelte physique. (Photo by John Shearer/WireImage)
But she really turned heads when she turned her back to the camera. The Prabal Gurung gown had an amazing open back and felt very Katniss like with it's flowing train. We're sure Cinna was impressed. (Photo by Steve Granitz/WireImage)

London loves a little sparkle and so do we! Lawrence went for this candy-like Dior Couture gown with a simple white bodice and sequined panel at the UK premiere of "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire." While the Dior Couture dress was subtle in the front, it was a winner in the back with a deep backless cutout and a flowing piece. It almost has a wing-like quality. Do you like the look? (Photo by Karwai Tang/WireImage)

This look is easily one of Lawrence's most famous. The edgy actress took a walk on the wild side in a Dior Coutoure dress with a black bodysuit, sheer overlay, and chunky black belt. She amped up the sexy factor with a red lip and a smoky eye. (Photo by Jeffrey Mayer/WireImage)

The film's director, Francis Lawrence, said in a recent interview with Radio Times, "She'd probably tell you it was her least favorite day. She was horrified to sing, she cried a little bit in the morning before she had to sing."
Poor Jen! You can check out how she did when "Mockingjay - Part 1" hits theaters Nov. 21.
