Did Brad Paisley just blow it?

Mom-to-be Carrie Underwood, 31, has stayed mum about whether she's expecting a baby girl or baby boy after announcing her pregnancy via Instagram in September.

But the cat may be out of the bag now. While hosting the CMA Awards on Wednesday night, Underwood whispered the sex of her baby into her co-host Paisley's ear. And just a few moments later, Paisley declared that she should name her son, Garth, after fellow country star Garth Brooks.

It's hard to say whether Paisley and Underwood were just joking around for the show, but that seems like it would be a pretty big secret to spill if it is true. The "Blown Away" singer didn't seem upset about her pal's reveal, which gives us reason to believe it was a planned announcement.

Underwood recently revealed she was secretly hoping for a girl in an interview with "America's Morning Show" in early October.

"I just feel like we need some frills happening," she said. "We'll of course be overjoyed with either. I'm the only one that's kind of like, 'I kind of hope it's a girl a little bit.'"

This will be the first child for the country cutie and her hockey player husband, Mike Fisher.
