'Pawn Stars' Takes A Look Back At The Shop's Biggest Misses

On "Pawn Stars," the show revisited some of its biggest buys, but we found the biggest busts more interesting. Here are our two favorites shop owner Rick Harrison may have missed out on: A Jimi Hendrix guitar and the car-wrecking, robotic dinosaur Robosaurus, each valued at up to $1 million dollars.

Oddly enough, if the seller had taken Rick's final offer of $600,000 for the Hendrix relic, the guitar would have been the most amount of money the shop had ever spent on a single item. As it stands, the most cash Rick has ever dropped on an item is $111,000 on 3,000 ounces of silver.

And as for the mean wrecking machine known as Robosaurus, since getting the thumbs down from Rick, it's destroyed around 375 cars and has been touring monster truck shows around the country.

No ... we're not kidding. Here's a clip from Monster Jam 2014 in San Antonio.

Hopefully, the shop doesn't miss out on these kinds of items again. But only time will tell if they would have actually ever needed a 30-ton, 45-foot-tall metal dinosaur.
