Arizona Firefighters Rescue Horse Stuck In Pool

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make em drink. However, swimming is apparently a whole other story.

This was the scene at a home in Mesa, Arizona over the weekend. It took more than half a dozen firefighters to get Stormy out of the pool.

When they got the call that a horse had fallen into a pool and couldn't get out, they thought it was a prank. But then they got there and realized they had their work cut out for them.

A veterinarian sedated the horse to keep it calm during the rescue operation and it snoozed through the whole thing.

Stormy's owners say they let him roam freely around the property but we know what area he'll probably stay away from.

Turns out horses can end up in the darndest of places.

Firefighters in Massachusetts rescued a mini horse...from a mini sinkhole.
Officials say the hole was likely caused by an old septic system... Fortunately, the little guy, whose name is Norton, wasn't injured - though they did say he was a bit agitated after the incident.
