'RHONJ' Cast Reveals Raw Emotions After Teresa, Joe Giudice Sentencing

On the season finale of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," we heard the cast's emotional reactions to Teresa and Joe Giudice's sentencing as it was unfolding earlier this month.

The other housewives were clearly shocked to learn Joe had been sentenced to 41 months and Teresa to 15 months behind bars on Oct. 2.

Before the season finale, several members of "The Real Housewives" cast opened up about how they felt about Teresa and Joe's sentencing in interviews and on social media.

But, as Bustle points out, on Sunday night, we saw their "very raw, very emotional reactions" which ranged from "sweet to unsympathetic."

Teresa's cousin Kathy Wakile and her former friend Jacqueline Laurita were the most visibly upset by the news. And Amber Marchese, who's a breast cancer survivor, even claimed she would rather have cancer again than deal with what the Giudice family is going through right now.

But twins Teresa Aprea and Nicole Napolitano weren't nearly as concerned, with Teresa Aprea hinting at the beginning of the episode that Teresa Giudice deserved jail time.

Ouch. But some fans weren't really buying some of the cast's reactions, especially Kathy's and Jacqueline's. Some posted on Bravo's website saying the two were "so transparent," "energy parasites" and "untrustworthy."

Teresa will begin her prison sentence on Jan. 5 so she can spend the holidays with her family. Joe will serve his after his wife is released.
